Daily Letter Hunt

How to play

1. 1Choose Hunt 5, Hunt 6, or Hunt 7 and enter a guess with that many letters.
2. 2Read each letter tile: right spot means correct position, in word means present elsewhere, and miss means the letter is absent or you have guessed it too many times.
3. 3Use the vertical guess history to narrow the hidden answer.
4. 4Finish in six guesses or fewer, then play another word whenever you want.

Rules

• There is one dated daily challenge per word length each day for local stats and streaks.
• After finishing the daily challenge, you can play extra Letter Hunt words without waiting for tomorrow.
• You get up to 6 guesses.
• Every guess must be a real word with the correct word length.

Scoring

• The goal is to solve each answer in six guesses or fewer.
• The dated daily challenge and extra words both update local played games, wins, streaks, and win distribution in this browser.
• Your streak counts consecutive wins across daily challenges and extra words. A loss resets it.
• Daily result sharing stays tied to the selected dated daily challenge.

Tips and strategy

• Start with a word that uses different common letters.
• Treat right-spot letters as fixed positions for every later guess.
• Move in-word letters into new positions instead of repeating the same pattern.
• Check every copy of a repeated letter before ruling it out: one copy can match while another is a miss.
