Private choice
Pick the cosiest activity for a rainy afternoon.
Choose what you think most example responses will choose.
One private choice, then reveal
How it works in Mind Party
- 1. Choose privately
Players answer without seeing anyone else’s selection.
- 2. Lock and group
The room waits for all answers or the timer, then groups identical normalized responses.
- 3. Reveal and score
Match mode rewards shared choices; Avoid mode rewards rare valid choices. Neither uses speed.
Short text stays controlled
Fixed choices first
Family and older-children modes use reviewed fixed choices. Optional short text is off by default, limited to 40 characters, filtered, exact-normalized without semantic AI, and can be disabled by the host.
Accessible group reveal
Accessibility
- ✓ Large labelled choice buttons support keyboard navigation.
- ✓ Counts accompany every reveal bar.
- ✓ Results never rely on colour alone.
- ✓ Reveal transitions respect reduced-motion settings.
Same Page FAQ
Are example responses real?

Does answering quickly help?
No. Same Page awards no speed points.
Is free text available for children?
No. Short-text rounds are disabled by default in family and older-children modes.
Is Team Sync included?
Not in the MVP. The current room modes are Match the Room and Avoid the Obvious.
