Daily Letter Hunt

How to play

1. 1Choose Hunt 5, Hunt 6, or Hunt 7 and enter a guess with that many letters.
2. 2Read each letter tile: right spot means correct position, in word means present elsewhere, and miss means not in the word.
3. 3Use the vertical guess history to narrow the hidden answer.
4. 4Finish in six guesses or fewer, then play another word whenever you want.

Rules

• There is one dated daily challenge per word length each day for local stats and streaks.
• After finishing the daily challenge, you can play extra Letter Hunt words without waiting for tomorrow.
• You get up to 6 guesses.
• Every guess must be a real word with the correct word length.

Scoring

• The goal is to solve each answer in six guesses or fewer.
• The dated daily challenge and extra words both update local played games, wins, streaks, and win distribution in this browser.
• Extra words are unlimited free play after the daily challenge.
• Daily result sharing stays tied to the selected dated daily challenge.

Tips and strategy

• Start with a word that uses different common letters.
• Treat right-spot letters as fixed positions for every later guess.
• Move in-word letters into new positions instead of repeating the same pattern.
• Use miss clues to remove letters from your next guess.

Example round

If the hidden word is PLANT and you guess PAINT, the first and last letters are in the right spot, shared letters are marked in word, and unused letters receive a miss clue.
