PlayNib

Terms

Terms of use

Last updated: 6 September 2026

These terms describe acceptable-use rules for PlayNib. PlayNib is operated by Anahit Pty Ltd, based in South Australia, Australia. By using the site, you agree to use the games, quiz tools, and multiplayer rooms responsibly.

The service

PlayNib provides browser games, daily puzzles, quiz tools, worksheets, and room-code multiplayer experiences. Core play works without accounts, and features may change as the site evolves.

Mind Lab games and demonstrations

Mind Lab is provided for entertainment and educational demonstration only. Activity results describe the current game session; they are not professional advice, an IQ or personality test, a medical or psychological assessment, or a diagnosis.

Policy owner review required: review these terms before Mind Lab launches and after material changes to room content, result storage, or assessment-related positioning.

Acceptable use

Players should use the site fairly, avoid abusive guest names, avoid interfering with rooms, and respect other people in multiplayer games.

  • Do not enter personal student information, real names, school names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, dates of birth, or sensitive records.
  • Do not create unsafe, inappropriate, hateful, sexual, exploitative, violent, gambling-related, scam-related, or illegal quiz topics.
  • Do not paste copyrighted text dumps or material you do not have permission to use.
  • Do not use quizzes, display names, or reports for bullying, harassment, impersonation, or targeted abuse.
  • Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, safety checks, moderation, reporting tools, or room controls.
  • Do not submit offensive room responses, attempt to identify or harass participants, or scrape private room content.

Guest play

Core play works without accounts. Guest display names and local device identifiers may be used to support room play.

Optional Challenge Club membership and standings

Challenge Club membership is optional and intended for people aged 16 and over. Guests can open, play, and complete Club challenges without joining. Members use passwordless email access, must choose a non-identifying nickname, and may save eligible server-validated results and streaks.

Public standings are disabled. A stored visibility preference cannot publish a nickname or result while they remain disabled. Before any future activation, visibility will remain off by default and will require a separate release and policy review. PlayNib may keep results provisional, reject impossible or manipulated submissions, disqualify results, moderate nicknames, suspend profiles, and correct operator errors. A first eligible result may be the only result counted for a challenge even when practice remains available.

Account authentication is separate from optional weekly reminder consent. Authentication codes are service messages, not marketing permission. Reminder delivery remains disabled until a separately approved sending and unsubscribe process is available. Members can change visibility, report a nickname, and use the account-deletion control.

Deletion revokes Club sessions, removes the active nickname, profile, preferences and authentication identity, and irreversibly disconnects retained aggregate results. Deleted history and streaks are not restored. A keyed, non-public record prevents recreation for 90 days; after that period the address may create a new account without recovering old data. Limited records may be retained for an active fraud, safety, legal, or audit need under the published retention schedule.

Limited rollout: optional private Club accounts are active under an owner-approved limited rollout. Public standings and reminder delivery remain disabled. Appropriate privacy/legal review of the account, age, provider, retention and deletion terms is still pending; these terms do not claim legal certification.

Doodle Drift room conduct

Doodle Drift rooms are private, no-login drawing rooms. Players are responsible for keeping prompts, guesses, drawings, nicknames, and reports safe for the people invited to the room.

  • Do not create offensive drawings or prompts, including hateful, sexual, exploitative, violent, threatening, or unsafe content.
  • Do not use Doodle Drift for bullying, harassment, impersonation, humiliation, targeted abuse, or private jokes that identify or shame someone.
  • Do not include personal information in prompts, guesses, drawings, nicknames, room names, reports, or AI prompt-pack topics.
  • Do not use copyrighted or trademarked content as prompts or drawings in ways that violate rights or mislead other users.
  • Do not attempt to bypass private room access, guess album tokens, scrape private room artifacts, or share private albums publicly without permission.
  • Do not abuse reporting, moderation, admin endpoints, rate limits, cleanup tools, or other safety systems.

Letter Mission fair use

Letter Mission is provided for normal personal, family, classroom, and private-room play. Use a nickname rather than a real name and keep word suggestions suitable for editorial review.

  • Do not use offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening, impersonating, or personally identifying nicknames.
  • Do not scrape, probe, reverse engineer, enumerate, or otherwise attempt to extract current private answer sets, mission witness words, or hidden validation data.
  • Do not use bots, scripts, automated clients, repeated requests, or distributed submissions to abuse guesses, rooms, hints, suggestions, rate limits, or editorial queues.
  • Word suggestions are requests for review only. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, points, a score change, publication, or a response.
  • Reviewed words, definitions, missions, puzzle status, and content versions may change for quality, safety, licence, locale, or emergency-correction reasons.

Trick & Tell room conduct

Trick & Tell is provided for normal personal, family, classroom, and private-room educational play. Results and mastery marks describe only activity in the game and are not formal educational assessments.

  • Use a nickname rather than a real student name, school identifier, or other personal information.
  • Do not use offensive, threatening, impersonating, or personally identifying nicknames.
  • Do not use bots, scripts, duplicate submissions, stale-state replays, or repeated requests to disrupt a room, alter scoring, or bypass rate limits.
  • Do not attempt to access private rooms without permission or collect room codes, guest identifiers, results, or other players’ submissions.
  • Tell It cards are for voluntary in-person performance only; do not submit recordings or personal explanations to PlayNib.

Policy owner review required: review these terms before Trick & Tell launches and after material changes to party data, room controls, or learner progress.

Optional organizer accounts

If optional organizer accounts are introduced, additional account, billing, data deletion, and saved-content terms will apply. Attendees should still be able to join rooms without accounts.

Your content

You are responsible for prompts, quiz topics, questions, answers, drawings, guesses, nicknames, reports, and other content you submit. Do not submit content that you do not have permission to use.

By submitting content, you give PlayNib permission to host, process, display, moderate, copy, adapt, and remove that content as needed to operate games, show room results, provide quiz tools, maintain safety, and run the service.

AI-generated learning content

AI-generated quizzes, worksheets, flashcards, explanations, and answer keys may be inaccurate or incomplete. Users must review generated content before classroom, family, study, or public-library use.

Public quiz submissions may be moderated, hidden, rejected, or removed if they appear unsafe, low quality, private, infringing, spammy, or inappropriate for children.

Availability

The site may change, pause, or remove games as it evolves. Saved progress and uninterrupted access are not guaranteed.

Intellectual property

PlayNib's site design, branding, game interfaces, text, code, and other service materials are owned by Anahit Pty Ltd or its licensors. You may use the site for normal personal, family, classroom, or event play, but you may not copy, sell, scrape, or misuse the service.

Safety and removal

PlayNib may remove content, restrict access, block abusive traffic, disable features, or investigate reports when needed to protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse, or operate the service.

No warranties

PlayNib is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The site may contain mistakes, generated content may be inaccurate, and games or tools may not always work without interruption.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Anahit Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or access arising from use of PlayNib.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including rights under Australian consumer law where they apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, unless local law gives you rights that cannot be changed by these terms.
