Accuracy comes first
Preferences and personal bests stay in this browser. Daily Focus never adapts its shared sequence.
Three trial families
How it works
Colour Rule
Choose the labelled colour you see or what the word says. The written word and visual colour may conflict.
Arrow Focus
Answer the centre arrow while surrounding arrows act as distractors. Hard mode adds up and down.
Switch It
Respond by the cued shape, colour, direction, or count. Results separate repeat and switch trials.
Read results narrowly
What the result does not mean
A Focus Shift result is not an attention diagnosis, intelligence measure, brain score, or assessment of a lasting ability.
Ways to play
Accessibility
- Every response has a text label and visible keyboard shortcut.
- Calm Practice is untimed, with a persistent screen-reader-labelled rule.
- High-contrast focus states and reduced-motion styles are built in.
- Instructions and answers never rely on colour alone.

What is the switch difference?
It is the response-time difference between correct switch and repeat trials in this activity only.
Are results uploaded?
No. Preferences and personal bests stay in local browser storage.
